PrefixUnit¶

class astropy.units.PrefixUnit(st, represents=None, register=None, doc=None, format=None, namespace=None)[source] [edit on github]¶

A unit that is simply a SI-prefixed version of another unit.

For example, mm is a PrefixUnit of .001 * m.

The constructor is the same as for Unit.
